A little bit about me :)

Hello Everyone!

Sorry this is a little bit late, I am completely new to the blogging world, but here is a little bit about me:

My name is Amanda, and I am a Senior at SJSU getting my B.S. in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry.
I originally wanted to attend dental school in the beginning of my college career when I started working in an orthodontics office, but through that experience realized it was not for me and took on a new challenge. I am now eager and ready to start a new path and have started my applications for graduate school as a Nurse Practitioner :) I enjoy helping people and discovering new things in the health world. I am a sports fan mainly basketball and football. I love being active whether it is working out at a gym, playing soccer or going on a nice hike. I like to cook and bake yummy treats and spend time with my family. I have recently become a hospital volunteer for the E.R. department and I am excited to see what the hospital world has in store for me! I look forward to blogging with all of you, talk to you soon!
